1981 - Two gay bars survive fire that ravaged their neighborhood
Lynn, MA
Fran's Place survived Lynn's second great fire that burned all around it and destroyed neighboring structures such as the Blue Note bar. Also surviving was 212 Broad St., the home of JR's Ranch.
